LEBANON GOVERNMENT HAS MEMBERS OF HEZBOLLAH TERRORIST GROUP SANCTIONED BY OFAC

The Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) has designated two Members of the Parliament of Lebanon, and a security chief, who are agents of Hezbollah.This is the first time that the Treasury Department has named officials in the government of Lebanon.

 The individuals, who were named pursuant to EO 134224, for terrorist activities, or for providing support to terrorists, are:

(1) AMIN SHERRI, A member of Parliament.

(2  MUHAMMAD HASAN RA'D, A Member of Parliament.

(3) WAFIQ SAFA, The head of Hezbollah's security service.

All of these individuals routinely used aliases. You may access all their names on the Treasury webpage here.
