Jeff Kehoe, whom you may know as the Enforcement Director at IIROC, has now been named as the Enforcement Director for the Ontario Securities Commission (OSC), effective 11 October, 2016. A former Crown Attorney, and ex-Department of Justice Crown Counsel, Mr. Kehoe has extensive experience in both securities enforcement, and criminal law.
He has law degrees, and compliance certification, in both the United States and Canada; we welcome his appointment, and believe that he will make a positive impact upon securities crime, especially insider trading, in the Province of Ontario, as well as cooperation with sister agencies in the US.
