INTELLIGNECE REPORT ASSESSES NEXT ISRAEL – HEZBOLLAH CONFLICT WILL DAMAGE REGIONAL INFRASTRUCTURE……
THE ISLAMIC REPUBLIC OF IRAN IS THE MAJOR SUPPORTER OF HEZBOLLAH >>
WANTED SA has learned that the Washington Institute for Near East Policy has published a report, entitled " If War Comes: Israel vs. Hezbollah and its Allies*," which warns of the threat of major infrastructure damage amongst the countries that become the battleground for a second clash between Israel and Hezbollah, if it comes.
The report, which assumes widespread damage to population centers in both Lebanon and Israel in any new armed conflict, also anticipates some involvement of Syria in the hostilities, meaning that one should expect battle damage to impact that nation as well.
Compliance Officers charged with the assessment of country risk for countries in the region should note well that the report, which was prepared by a former US intelligence analyst and a military officer with Middle East combat experience, believes that a cease-fire, when it comes, will find Israel in firm control of a portion of southern Lebanon, and with the rest of that country's infrastructure severely damaged.
The report also concludes that Israel will respond to any attacks from Hamas by engaging in another military incursion into Gaza.
The report also warns of possible damage in the Gulf, but that is strictly contingent upon the extent of Iran's actions in support of Hezbollah and Syria, or lack thereof. It predicts substantial civilian casualties, including amongst UNIFIL forces stationed in Lebanon. It is strongly suggested that you review the complete text. Pray for peace.
