WANTED SA GROUP had profiled Corrupt Prosecutor More than Four Years before Sanctions

OFAC this week named* the former Director of the Regional Prosecutor's office in Medellin, Colombia as an SDNTK for his alleged links to the "Don Mario" narcotics trafficking organization and other undisclosed Narco-Organizations.

Guillermo Leon Valencia Cossio who is reportedly currently on trial in Colombia on corruption and conspiracy charges was arrested on August 2008, but not sanctioned until this week. WANTED SA Group had first profiled** Valencia more than four and one-half years ago in January 2006.

He is alleged to have been providing material assistance to the drug trafficking activities of paramilitary groups.
