Treasury Designates Alias of Lashkar-e-Tayyiba
The Department of the Treasury* and the Department of State** have jointly designated Falah-i-Insaniat Foundation [FIF], as an alias of sanctioned Lashkar-e-Tayyiba [LeT], the Pakistan-based organisation said to be responsible for numerous terrorist attacks. FIF is allegedly providing financial support to LeT and its leadership. Three individuals said to be senior leaders of LeT/FIF were also named as Specially Designated Global Terrorists, Mian Abdullah a/k/a Abu Saad Shabbir, Mohammad Alam Khan, and Hafiz Abdur Rauf.
