MONTE FRIESNER UNCOVERS “ARMY OF GOD” TERROR GROUP & SUPPORTED IN IRAN >

Thursday November 04, 2010 >

WANTED SA has just learned this date that the “Jundallah”, also known as the Army of God, and officially, as the Peoples' Resistence Movement of Iran, a reputed terrorist organization, which was named by OFAC this week*, as both a Foreign Terrorist Organization [FTO] and a Specially Designated Global Terrorist Organization [SDGT].

This Criminal Organization was first profiled by Monte Friesner – Financial Crime Consultant for WANTED SA in July of 2004** and more than six years ahead of its designation by the US regulatory agency.

During several field trips to Afghanistan the potential danger and operations and activities in Iran, Pakistan and Afghanistan “Jundalla” was exposed.

Jundallah, which has reportedly been blamed for a number of terrorist attacks inside Iran, first claimed responsibility for an attack on February 15, 2007, but was profiled on operations years earlier due to its alleged involvement in a suicide bombing that resulted in the death of a US diplomat in Karachi in 2004.

The organization has been allegedly engaged in drugs trafficking and fuel smuggling in Afghanistan and Pakistan. It has been accused of conducting suicide bombings, ambushes, kidnappings, and targeted assassinations, and most importantly, the robbery of foreign banks.

Iran has alleged that Jundallah has received material support from foreign sources, but no evidence has ever been publicly released.
